Overview
Mystic took second place in the 2023 VIPCA culinary competition and won the 2024 table-setting competition, so expect the dining to be a highlight. This 2023 Bali 5.4 sailing catamaran is based at Village Cay in the British Virgin Islands, and her signature lift-up aft door opens the salon straight onto the cockpit for easy indoor-outdoor living. Up front, a solid lounge replaces trampolines, and the flybridge is made for sundowners. Up to 8 guests sleep in four queen cabins, each with its own bathroom, shower and individual air conditioning. South African husband-and-wife team Colben and Teagan run the boat: he is an Atlantic-crossing captain and keen fisherman, and she cooks a fully customizable menu. Water skis, a wakeboard, kneeboard, wing foil, Subwing, sea scooters, paddle boards that convert to kayaks, and fishing gear keep active days full, and a hydraulic swim platform makes getting in easy. Perfect for couples, friends and families who want great food and plenty of play.

Captain Colben is an accomplished yacht master and passionate seafarer, known for his adventurous spirit and love of the ocean. Growing up on the picturesque north coast of South Africa, Colben developed a deep appreciation for the sea from an early age, which laid the foundation for a lifetime of maritime exploration.
With a remarkable achievement of crossing the Atlantic Ocean, Colben has cemented his status as an experienced sailor. Driven by a desire for adventure, he embarked on an unforgettable two-year journey, sailing around South America and the Caribbean on their personal yacht. This experience not only broadened their horizons but also deepened his connection to the ocean and the diverse cultures encountered along the way.
An avid fisherman, Colben finds joy in the thrill of the catch and the tranquility of the open waters. His passion for marine life extends beyond fishing, as they are also a dedicated snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiast. These activities allow Colben to explore the vibrant underwater ecosystems, fostering a strong commitment to marine conservation.
Through his experiences, Colben has not only embraced the beauty and challenges of life at sea but also inspired others to appreciate and protect the ocean's wonders. Mystic was more than perfect, and somehow Colben & Teagan made the experience even better. Colben was always ready for an adventure—from playing crazy card games with us, pulling Connie on the slalom ski to teaching us how to skip water toys across the water. His energy, patience, and enthusiasm made every day unforgettable. And Teagan—where do we begin? Her chef skills are out of this world. Every meal was prepared to perfection and was also extremely delicious. We were spoiled in every way possible. Her humor, kindness, and genuine personality added to the trip and made everything feel so personal. Over the course of the week, we made incredible memories, laughed until our cheeks hurt, and loved every minute of the journey.
