Overview
Superb and elegant, GYRFALCON is a luxurious sailing Sunreef 60 catamaran launched in 2019. Destined for sailing adventures in ultimate comfort, GYRFALCON boasts a combination of exterior and interior areas easily flowing into one another. Her smart and well-designed layout offers sumptuous accommodation for 10 guests. Perfect to unwind and relax after a long day in the sun, five elegantly appointed en suite cabins with comfortable queen beds are designed in a soothing white and grey colour pallet. A generous saloon combined with a functional galley opens both onto the bow terrace and cockpit creating one huge lounging area. Decorated with bright powder blue accents, the saloon is equipped with a big unfoldable table and comfortable seating for 10, allowing guests to dine in comfort and relax in a homelike atmosphere. GYRFALCON features exterior spaces that are impressively vast and perfectly equipped for an unforgettable charter experience. The yacht’s flybridge is ideal for revelling in pleasant sea breeze and spectacular views. Fitted with large sun pads, coffee tables, pouffes and a bar, it is the ultimate place to spend relaxing afternoons. Guests will also enjoy an additional terrace in the front benefitting from a cosy lounge which can be shielded from the sun. Captain Sylvio
Syl was truly blessed to grow up on the shores of the Northumberland Strait on Canada’s Atlantic Coast, where life revolves around the sea. As a child, he developed a deep passion for sailing, spending nine consecutive summers at his local sailing school. He liked racing dinghies, but more than anything, he simply loved to sail.
For Syl, the salty Atlantic air awakens a sixth sense, and sailing has always been the answer to many of life’s questions. After a successful career as an entrepreneur and seeing his boys off to college, Sylvio charted a new course in life and transitioned into professional yachting. Armed with his RYA Yachtmaster Certification and other essential qualifications, he embarked on this new journey and has never looked back.
Syl is a kind and generous captain who engages with his guests with a calm and relaxed demeanor. He excels at creating customized charter experiences, collaborating closely with his guests to bring their dream itineraries to life. Whether it’s cruising to a secluded beach, exploring must-see island spots, or anything in between, Sylvio ensures every moment is unforgettable.
Chef Elena
Proud of her Italian heritage, Elena brings flavors, traditions and warmth of Italy to every dish she prepares. Formally culinary -trained, with second-level wine appreciation and Silver Service certification, she has over five years of experience working aboard sailing yachts and charter catamarans. Elena loves blending classic Italian techniques with international cuisine, creating personalized menus that delight every guest.
She thrives on the social side of yachting-meeting new guests each week, understanding their preferences, and crafting dining experiences that feel authentic and memorable. For Elena, cooking is about more than food; it’s about sharing happiness, culture and a little bit of Italy with everyone on board.
Third Mate/Stew Mafalda
As a proud Portuguese sailor, I carry with me the spirit of my ancestors who once charted vast maritime routes across Asia, Africa, and South America. Their pioneering understanding of the Atlantic winds and currents has always inspired me, and the sea has been my passion from an early age.
With over eight years of hands-on experience aboard sailing yachts and charter catamarans, I am dependable, detail-oriented, and dedicated to making life on board smooth and enjoyable for both guests and crew. I thrive in guest-facing roles, bringing warmth, patience, and a welcoming smile that help create a safe and relaxed atmosphere. From supporting families with children to ensuring the vessel is always in perfect order, I take pride in going the extra mile.
Alongside my sailing background, I am fluent in multiple languages and have a strong interest in wellness, yoga, Pilates, and water sports. These passions allow me to share positive energy, balance, and enthusiasm with guests, making every journey not only comfortable but truly memorable.

The week was fantastic! In every way. The crew was wonderful— perfect mix of friendly but not inserting themselves too much into our private time. GREAT food— really some of the best ever! Great sports and patience to let us try everything! The destinations were well curated. And the tiny hiccups handled with grace. The tender problem was handled so well we hardly knew of the hard work it took to get a replacement. The pickup and drop off change was handled so well. We felt cared for like kings and queens. We would definitely choose the water taxi and ground taxi services you all provided as they were top notch. I really cannot think of anything we would criticize. We’d love to make the trip again!
